Little Rock, Arkansas – The Clinton Foundation has formally declared its intentions to substantially expand the Clinton Presidential Center, a notable establishment in Little Rock. This ambitious project will see the inauguration of the “Hillary Rodham Clinton Institute,” designated to house Mrs. Clinton’s individual archives and documents. Furthermore, this institute aims to function as a primary location for her philanthropic activities and advocacies.

The announcement made on Tuesday emphasized the center’s enhanced capacities post-expansion. It would augment its facility for exhibitions, be a convening ground for global dignitaries, and broaden educational initiatives. All the while, it continues to prioritize eco-friendly and sustainable construction methodologies. A comprehensive breakdown of the expansion specifics will be presented to the public in 2024.

For this endeavor, the foundation is collaborating with Studio Gang, a renowned architectural firm headquartered in Chicago. Under the leadership of Jeanne Gang, Studio Gang was pivotal in the design of the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, which recently welcomed visitors once again. This esteemed firm, with branches across the globe, is joining forces with the Little Rock architectural entity, Polk Stanley Wilcox, to realize the vision for the Presidential Center.

Historical data reveals that the Clinton Center, since its inception in 2004, has been a magnet for global visitors, amassing a count of over five million. This figure also includes a significant number of students and educational personnel, totaling over half a million. A study by the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2014 highlighted the Clinton Center’s profound economic influence, attributing to it a staggering $3.3 billion impact on the economies of downtown Little Rock and its neighboring North Little Rock.
