Little Rock, Arkansas – The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) has made significant progress in the homicide investigation from last week, which took place at a hotel in west Little Rock. The authorities have now made a second arrest in relation to the case.

Details Surrounding the Investigation

On Wednesday, officials from the LRPD announced the arrest of 32-year-old Brandon Jones, linking him to the fatal shooting of Jonathan Foster, aged 30. The tragic incident occurred the previous Wednesday evening at MainStay Suites, situated at 10800 Kanis Road. Upon arrival, authorities found Foster suffering from a gunshot wound. While he was promptly taken to a local hospital for medical attention, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead.

The department had already apprehended 27-year-old Kaitlyn Johnson last Friday, connecting her to the same deadly incident. Currently, Johnson faces severe charges, including capital murder and trafficking a controlled substance. She is detained with a set bond of $500,000 and is expected to present herself in court on November 11th.

Jones, on the other hand, is also facing a capital murder charge. Unlike Johnson, he has been held without the possibility of bond.

LRPD has emphasized that the investigation surrounding the homicide remains active and ongoing. They urge the public to remain patient and confident in their efforts to bring justice to the victim and the community.
