This window of opportunity allows voters to participate in the democratic process ahead of the official election day, with early voting running through March 4 at thirteen designated sites across the county.
Voters will have the flexibility to choose from Democrat, Republican, or nonpartisan ballots for the judicial election, depending on their address. Hollingsworth emphasizes the importance of being informed about the choices on the ballot. “We are one of 16 states with an open primary allowing voters to vote in any one regardless of their political affiliation,” she said. “Today is a good day to review your sample ballot, research the candidates, and plan when and where you will early vote.”
Voting Locations and Times
The early voting sites will accommodate voters from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, with a closure on Sundays. Notably, the Dunbar Recreation Center will serve as an early voting location, replacing the Sue Cowen Library due to renovations.
The list of voting sites includes several locations throughout Pulaski County, from libraries to community centers, ensuring accessibility for all eligible voters. The Pulaski County Regional Building at 501 W. Markham St. in Little Rock will be the only site open on the final day of voting, March 4, closing at 5 p.m.
