Stone County, Arkansas – Authorities in northern Arkansas have reported the disappearance of a 65-year-old woman, Rebecca Hunter.

Ms. Hunter was reportedly last seen at her Fox, Arkansas, residence on McElroy Road on July 22, as indicated in a recent announcement by the Stone County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.

The Sheriff’s Office shared that family members of Ms. Hunter alerted them on Monday, claiming she had left her home and had not since returned. Subsequently, a missing persons report was filed by the family with the Sheriff’s Office.

In response to this concerning report, a ground search team was assembled to investigate the area around McElroy Road. The Arkansas Department of Corrections extended their assistance with a K9 team, although the ground search yielded no substantial results.

To broaden the search, an aerial surveillance operation was commenced with the collaboration of the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office. Despite these extensive efforts, authorities reported that Ms. Hunter remains missing.

Ms. Hunter is a white female, standing at approximately five feet two inches tall and weighing around 190 pounds. She has hazel eyes and dark blonde hair. The Stone County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information related to Ms. Hunter’s whereabouts and encourages individuals to contact them at (870) 269-3825 with any relevant details.
