Little Rock, Arkansas – A crash involving a firetruck and an SUV in Little Rock Tuesday morning resulted in minor injuries to four individuals. The incident occurred as firefighters from the Little Rock Fire Department (LRFD) were en route to a grass fire.

The fire crew was responding to the call shortly after 10 a.m. when the unexpected collision took place at the intersection of West 65th Street and Geyer Springs Road. According to LRFD officials, the impact was severe enough to tip the firetruck on its side.

Of those involved in the accident, three were firefighters from the responding unit, while the fourth individual was an occupant of the SUV. Although all injuries reported are minor, the four people were transported to a local hospital to undergo further medical evaluation to ensure there aren’t any underlying issues.

While the immediate cause of the crash is yet to be determined, local law enforcement, including the Little Rock Police Department, has taken charge of the investigation. Given the magnitude of the accident and the need for a thorough inquiry, authorities are currently advising drivers to steer clear of the area. This will allow officials to effectively clear the scene and ensure a comprehensive investigation into the incident.

Local residents and those who usually travel through the mentioned intersection are urged to remain patient and seek alternative routes for their commutes. As details surrounding the circumstances of the crash remain scant, the community is advised to stay tuned for updates. This incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of emergencies and the risks our first responders face daily.

This is a developing story; once more details become available, we will update this article.
