In the recent multi-state Powerball lottery draw held on Monday, no ticket holder was fortunate enough to match all six numbers, thereby leaving the jackpot untouched.

However, there were winners in other categories. Three tickets, which successfully matched five numbers along with the Power Play number, were sold. Each of these tickets has won their owners the substantial sum of $2 million. These lucky tickets were purchased in Arkansas, Georgia, and Texas.

Additionally, five other tickets, which matched five numbers, have each secured a prize of $1 million. The locations where these tickets were sold include Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, New York, and Pennsylvania.

The number combination drawn on Monday evening was 5, 8, 9, 17, 41, and the Powerball number was 21.

The unclaimed jackpot continues to grow, with the next draw scheduled for Wednesday. The estimated value of the jackpot has now reached a staggering $1 billion, with a cash option of $516.8 million.

The Powerball lottery game is widely participated in across 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
