Fatal accident on Interstate 40 left one dead and one injured in Conway

Conway, Arkansas – A devastating crash on Wednesday night in Conway has resulted in the death of one person and left another injured. The accident, which occurred on Interstate 40, involved a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 and has deeply affected the local community.

Brittany Edwards, aged 32, from Conway, tragically lost her life as a result of this accident. The driver, identified as 33-year-old Sean Edwards, also from Conway, sustained injuries. The relationship between Brittany and Sean Edwards was not specified in the reports.

According to the fatal crash report, Sean and Brittany Edwards were traveling eastbound on Interstate 40 in the left lane at high speeds. In an attempt to overtake another vehicle, Sean lost control of the Dodge Ram, resulting in a collision with the concrete divider wall on the highway. This initial impact was severe enough to cause the vehicle to roll over, ejecting both occupants.

Brittany Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, Sean Edwards was urgently transported to UAMS for medical attention. The circumstances of the crash have prompted further investigation, and Brittany’s body was taken to the Faulkner County Coroner’s Office.
