Little Rock, Arkansas – The organizers of Jazz in the Park have officially announced the schedule for the upcoming fall season in September.

Marking its 10th year of celebrations, Jazz in the Park offers free concerts every Wednesday of the month, commencing at 6 p.m. Recognized as a staple event for families in the locality, it graces the River Market Pavilions biannually during both spring and fall seasons.

While some seating options will be available, attendees are kindly advised to consider bringing along picnic blankets and lawn chairs for comfort. Given the anticipated pleasant weather, it’s an opportune moment for such an outdoor experience. Additionally, attendees can avail themselves of water, soft beverages, as well as beer and wine for purchase. Notably, a portion of these sales will be allocated to the Art Porter Music Education scholarship fund. However, it’s imperative that personal coolers remain at one’s residence.

For those keen on planning their September Wednesdays, the Jazz in the Park 2023 fall roster is as follows:

  • Sept. 6: Nicky Parrish (Inaugural 10th-anniversary event at First Security Amphitheater)
  • Sept. 13: Dee Dee Jones
  • Sept. 20: Katrice Newbill
  • Sept. 27: Rodney Block (Decennial anniversary culmination at First Security Amphitheater)

Kindly note that Jazz in the Park is steadfast in its commitment to host the event irrespective of weather conditions. Should adverse weather arise, the venue will transition to Ottenheimer Hall.

For additional information about the event, visit the River Market website or follow the Little Rock River Market’s official Facebook page.
