Little Rock, Arkansas – The Little Rock Police Department is conducting an investigation into a tragic incident involving a fatal shooting. The incident took place in the 5001 block of West 65th Street, prompting a swift response from law enforcement authorities.

Upon receiving a report of shots fired at approximately 5:44 a.m. on Saturday, officers promptly arrived at the scene and discovered an individual who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, immediate action was taken to ensure the victim’s well-being.

The injured person was expeditiously transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Regrettably, despite the medical intervention provided, the individual succumbed to the injuries and tragically passed away.
