Little Rock, Arkansas – A resident of Pulaski County has won the $999,000 LOTTO jackpot prize, as announced by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) on Friday. The winner has chosen to remain unidentified.

The ASL reported that the individual purchased the ticket from J Grace Mart Inc. in Little Rock for the drawing on September 13.

The winning numbers for the draw were 1, 5, 17, 18, 23, and 39, all of which were matched by the winner.

The winner stated, “I went to the store with my brother-in-law to purchase a LOTTO ticket since the drawing was going to be held that night. Our family plays the lottery quite often.”

Upon realizing he had won, he expressed, “I checked my ticket after he (brother-in-law) saw on the lottery’s website that someone won the jackpot. What shocked me even more was that the winning numbers were just random numbers that I selected.”

He further added, “I’m still in disbelief and want some time to let this win sink in for a few days. For now, I plan to continue working.”

The recipient of the jackpot remains uncertain about how he will use the prize money.
