Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas is fast approaching its tax-free weekend.

From the first minute of Saturday, August 5, until the last on Sunday, August 6, Arkansas will be having a sales tax holiday.

The tax-free window is a perfect opportunity for shoppers to procure a variety of items without the additional burden of state and local sales or use tax.

The range of tax-exempt goods extends from electronic devices and school essentials to art supplies and instructional materials. Clothing is also included in the roster of tax-free items.

It is important to note that all retailers are obligated to comply with the terms of the Sales Tax Holiday. Consequently, they are prohibited from imposing tax on items that have been officially declared tax-exempt during this period.

Further details about this tax-free weekend can be accessed on the website of the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.
