Two more arrests made in connection to December 2022 homicide in Little Rock

Little Rock, Arkansas – Law enforcement in Little Rock reported the arrest of two individuals in relation to a fatal shooting incident that transpired in December.

The Little Rock Police Department disclosed that homicide investigators have apprehended Carlo Spencer, a 20-year-old male, linked to the shooting event on Dec. 6, situated on the 11500 block of West Markham Street. Officials have brought charges of capital murder against Spencer.

Simultaneously, detectives have arrested 21-year-old Kevin Pringle, another suspect associated with the same shooting incident. Pringle, too, is facing a capital murder charge.

In addition, on the preceding Friday, a representative from LRPD indicated that homicide detectives arrested Kadren Frierson, a 22-year-old male, also implicated in the same episode.

Recalling the incident on Dec. 6, law enforcement responded to reported gunfire at a Markham address. Upon arrival, they found multiple discharged bullet casings. Soon after, they received reports of a shooting casualty near the intersection of Markham and Chenal Parkway. At the location, they discovered 18-year-old Ja’Markeise Gage from Little Rock, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The unfortunate demise of Gage marked the 76th homicide of the year 2022.

Officials have reiterated that the investigation pertaining to the incident on Dec. 6 remains active and ongoing.
