Little Rock gears up for vibrant Hispanic heritage festivities in September

Little Rock, Arkansas – September marks the month of Independence Day celebrations for numerous Latin American nations.

In Central Arkansas, multiple events are scheduled to honor the independence, cultural heritage, and history of these countries.

Events in Little Rock:

  • Hispanic Heritage Festival will take place in North Little Rock at Argenta Plaza (510 Main St) on Saturday, September 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • CALS Children’s Library and Learning Center is organizing a Spanish Storytime on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
  • Club Sway will be hosting Lola’s Latin Night on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. This event is restricted to individuals aged 21 and above.
  • A cooking demonstration in collaboration with El Sur will be conducted at Terry Library on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Fletcher Library has scheduled a tortilla-making class on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Hispanic Heritage Festival is set to be held at Plaza Frida on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • An event named Folklore, Musica & Comida will be organized at Terry Library on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Additionally, in the upcoming month of October, the Fiesta en SoMa will be hosted in Little Rock’s SoMa district on Friday, October 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
